Our MISSION:

Love God.  Love others.  Serve the world.

That’s it!  It’s that simple.  Almost too simple.  But Jesus said to the religious leader’s of his day that their spirituality was too complicated…too many rules and hoops to jump through.  He said all the law and the prophets could be summed up in this statement: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.”   And then Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”  That’s it.  Almost too simple.

What that looks like:

Love God:

1. By coming to church on Sundays to hang out with other Christians for encouragment, worship, and celebration.

2. By learning to love God personally through spiritual formation.  Bible reading (and other encouraging books), praying, fasting, and living a simple life help us love God.

Love Others:

We love others by being in community with the people around us.  This is done best when we are in groups of different sizes.   Some people like community groups, some enjoy even small groups of 2 or 3.  But the focus is the same: Jesus.

Serve the World:

We are never more like Jesus when we are serving our world.  Whether it’s serving inside the church, or outside by voluteering to coach a little league baseball team, we are all about giving our lives away.  When we give our lives away, we enter God’s story by joining him in his mission to redeem the world!

Our VISION is quite simple:

~To send people on short-term missions trips and to adopt an entire community in a developing country.

~To be instrumental in planting and establishing other churches in the Seattle area.

~To partner with the community in service that demonstrates the love of God to meet the holistic needs of our community with our resources.

~To identify, deploy, and and empower leaders to be light in the community and servants in the church.

Our style:

In essential beliefs — we have unity.
There is one Body and one Spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of us all…Eph. 4:4-6

In non-essential beliefs — we have liberty.
Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters…  Who are you to judge someone else’s servant?  To his own master he stands or falls…  So then each of us will give an account of himself to God…  So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.  Romans 14:1,4,12,22
